We are excited to share our Digital Technology (DT) team is expanding to meet growing business needs across the world. Were making a significant investment in our people and systems to strengthen our digital foundation, drive business optimization, and enable our growth strategies. To this end, we have an immediate opening for aSenior Manager, Data Science Supply Chain and Operationsworking hybrid out of our Global HQ in Allentown, PA.

This is a critical strategic leadership role reporting to the Director, Data Science. The candidate will help realize the mission of our DT organization to apply technology to enable business roadmaps for Supply Chain and Operations globally. The candidate will be an outstanding people leader with the technical acumen to lead a global, highly-specialized, & advanced-degreed team that provides advanced analytical modeling to the enterprise. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in deploying analytics solutions as products on platforms and contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of those platforms.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment within the team and with business partners
Develop and implement Supply Chain and Operations analytics strategies and solutions aligned with sustainability goals to drive business value
Provide thought leadership and operational expertise in the application of advanced analytics including Optimization, Simulation, Forecasting, and Inventory Control solutions to digitize Supply Chain and Operations globally
Deliver next generation AI/ML solutions
Build strong relationships with business leaders to facilitate and strengthen decision making using both structured and unstructured data
Deliver solutions that enable our growth hydrogen business, including optimization of plant network design and meeting sustainability requirements through the supply chain
Rapidly deploy and scale advanced analytics models through cloud native services leveraging MLOps
Contribute to the design and deployment of platforms to facilitate effective implementation and adoption of advanced analytics models
Managing a Global team of about 10-15 individuals.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

PhD or Masters degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, AI/ML or related discipline. Bachelors degree will be considered for candidates with outstanding experience
10+ years of Operations Research and AI/ML modeling and management experience
5+ years building and leading high performing teams of Data Scientists and Operations Research professionals
Strong leadership skills with ability to lead and inspire global cross-functional and multi-cultural teams commensurate with senior IT levels
Experience conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in concise, simple language
Experience deploying analytics products on platforms
Experience working with Digital Product Management and Design
Knowledge of optimization platforms and solvers is a plus
Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems is a plus
