Department: Emergency Department Days and Shifts: PRN Position Works varied days and shifts 6 AM 6 PM or 6 PM 6 AM Orientation of 10 shifts required in first 6 weeks Description: Assist in ER and Med/Surg during busy times Assist with task-oriented nursing care as needed (i.e. IV starts, etc.) Enable floor nursing staff to do morning rounds with physicians Cover for breaks in nursing departments Chart audits; Admitting and discharging patients Assist with now orders in any of the above-named departments Night Float-check charts in health information for deficient charting; Admit clients into EPIC.
