Currently, Royal Hotel Chilliwack is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to join our team.

Wage: $65,520 CAD Annually
Working Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Overview:
Languages: English
Education: Completion of bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or related field is mandatory.
Experience:
 at least 5 years of experience as middle manager is required, proven experience in hospitality is an asset but not required.
 Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
 Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making capabilities.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Tasks:
 Ensure efficient allocation of resources, including staffing, inventory, and budgetary funds to maximize operational effectiveness and optimize guest satisfaction.
 Develop and implement long-term strategic plans and initiatives to achieve the hotel’s business objectives and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
 Provide strategic leadership and direction to hotel staff, ensuring effective team management and fostering a positive work environment, responsible for recruitment, training, and supervision of all departmental managers.
 Monitor key performance indictor, guest feedback and market trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall hotel performance.
 Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures to optimize profitability.
 Oversee sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue and maximize occupancy rates.
 Maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and local community stakeholders.
