Business Intelligence Developer (Hybrid)

We have an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Business Intelligence Developer to join a nationwide healthcare company in Franklin, TN. The BI Developer is responsible for the design and development of an Azure-based Business Intelligence platform, using ETL tools to extract, transform and load data from various sources and development of reports and data dashboards with industry standard tools (i.e. Power BI, SSRS, or equivalent tools).

Location: Franklin, Tennessee (Hybrid)

This job expects to pay about $50 – 55 per hour with conversion salary of $105-120k

What You Will Do: 

• Meet with various stakeholders to determine data requirements.
• Use determined data requirements to develop reports, dashboards, analytic algorithms, etc., to provide data that can be utilized by the organization to improve clinical outcomes, patient care, and financial performance.
• Develop algorithms, analytical tools, and reports to assist the organization in determining the value of potential acquisitions.
• Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources, removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems.
• Prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Work with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
• Communicate with stakeholders and management to maintain alignment with the goals of the business.
• Adjust schedules and targets on projects if priorities change.

What Gets You The Job: 

• The position requires a BS in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics and a minimum of five years of related work experience (preferably in a healthcare related industry).
• Experience in handling Azure reporting packages including Power BI and SQL Server/DB.
• Experience using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, or equivalent tools to create multiple, complex pipelines.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to understand business processes and data needs.
• Proficient knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, etc.
• Strong ability to translate business logic into technical data requirements.
