Colliers Mortgage is seeking a driven, customer focused, and detail-oriented Escrow Coordinator to support our internal Insurance and Tax teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to break into both the commercial real estate and/or commercial insurance industry. This individual will build strong cross functional internal relationships, correspond with complex commercial mortgage clients, work with external tax authorities and insurance agents/brokers, as well as our broader loan servicing team.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collecting evidence of insurance prior to renewal
Requesting and collecting insurance policies according to lender guidelines
Assisting in obtaining escrow shortages, request escrow analysis when needed
Maintaining servicing system and loan files
Identifying and escalating concerns to the insurance or tax analysts
Monitoring incoming insurance and tax requests
Monitoring and running status reports on a weekly and monthly basis
Assisting in coordinating documentation for audits
Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

6+ months of office experience, or an associates or higher degree required
Mortgage loan, business finance, or banking experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies in the available data
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
