Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office:

Vice President, Marine

We will count on you to:

Act as lead advisory colleague to shipowners of various size, including some of the largest fleets in Asia.
Develop an understanding of the clients business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs and provides advice accordingly to successfully serve clients.
Utilize risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for standard client needs.
Execute renewal/placement strategies in in accordance with client instructions.
Assist in presentations to prospective clients and develop/suggest innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, and is the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
Maintains quality in all areas of client deliverables, including monitoring delivery and invoicing to ensure client is satisfied.
Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and contributes to the firms body of knowledge within product line through active internal communication.
Understand how Marsh can assist clients beyond just marine lines, acting as the risk advisor of the future.
Assist in the mentorship and training of more junior colleagues in the team.


What you need to have:

At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in insurance industry.
Relevant specialty experience in marine hull, P&I preferred.
Excellent people management, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent. ANZIIF or ACII will be an advantage.
