Content Marketing Director New York, NY
- A minimum of 3 days per week working in our midtown Manhattan office is required.
This role drives and supports Guy Carpenters content marketing initiatives and activities. It supports and reports into Guy Carpenters Global Marketing and Communications Leader, and is responsible for creating content materials promoting the firms value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.

We will count on you to:

Drive planning, development and execution of global marketing and communications strategy on thought leadership promoting the firms value proposition to internal and external stakeholders across multiple channels and platforms.
Develop, write and edit a wide variety of engaging written content materials, including key messaging, articles, briefings reports and website.
Contribute to development and periodic refresh of firms annual content strategy and manage editorial calendar.
Draft high-impact press releases and prepare communications for collaboration with trade media -proactive outreach to trade media and responses to media inquiries.
Work closely with team members, client engagement teams and other relevant parties, in all key regions to shape ideas and narratives that align with the firms strategic messages and themes.
Collaborate with graphics and design team to bring thought leadership messaging to life and with compelling designs.
Lead strategic development of firms podcast series episodes: Content development, SME Collaboration, recording and activation through website and social media.

What you need to have:

A Bachelors Degree
A minimum of 5+ years of marketing and communications experience (within insurance or financial services is highly desirable but not required)

Experience working in a large, complex, and matrixed environment, working with a wide variety of stakeholders to develop and execute Content s strategies.
Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills on both technical and non-technical matters.
Proven ability to serve as a trusted and influential advisor and counselor to Senior executives, and to cultivate meaningful relationships with senior leaders and individuals of influence.
Hands-on experience with marketing and communications technologies, including marketing automation software, social media, intranets and content management systems.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which their full team will be together in person.


The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
We are excited to offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $145,100 to $290,200.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
