Work Location: Surrey, BC and across the Lower-Mainland region.

Job Description for the position of Residential Construction Supervisor at Buildgreen Framing Ltd. is as:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the daily activities of tradesmen and helpers, construction workers and other sub-contractors.
• Ability to read construction drawings to ensure that the constructions is being done according to plans.
• Prepare requisition of material and supplies. Order, receive and distribute material and supplies.
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade sub-contractors.
• Ensure that structures are built as per specifications.
• Resolve labor problems to ensure productivity.
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Make sure that construction schedules are met as per construction contracts.
• Prepare work progress reports.

Skills and Experience requirement:

• Completion of Secondary Education is required. Relevant higher education/certification is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction experience is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Heavy lifting may be required.
• Ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions is required.
