Eye zone Optometry Ltd. Located at Unit 101, 7511 120 street Delta, British Columbia Canada V4C 0C1 is looking for 1 full-time, Optometrist Assistant to join their team asap.
Job Duties: -
• Operate laboratory equipment to grind, cut & polish and edge lenses for eyeglasses according to prescription received.
• Greet people coming into clinic and provide general information in person and by phone.
• Provide service to the customers such as minor repairs of replacing frame screws and straightening frames.
• Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
• Maintain and repair the laboratory equipment & machinery.
• May perform other clerical duties as well.
• Schedule appointments, using manual or computerized systems.
• Record bookings, handle credit card checks, receive payment, issue receipts.
Job Requirement:
• Completion of Secondary School
• 1-2 years of experience is required
Terms of Employment: -
Full-time, Permanent
Wages: - $24.00 per hour. Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.
