Please find the below requirement and please share us the updated profile to you can reach me at Position: Storage/Backup Engineer Location: Cleveland, OH (Day 1 Onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Client: Tech Mahindra/ Cleveland Clinic Job Description: Experience in defining & translating complex Business Requirements into Technical Experience in developing High Level Design to meet Customer requirements across DC, Hybrid Experience in Storage technologies such as EMC VMAX, XIO, ECS & NetApp etc. Deep understanding on various aspects of technology such as; Compute, Storage and backup, Converged & Software Defined Infrastructure, Disaster Recovery/BCP. Knowledge of Fibre Channel configurations in storage hardware (HBAs), fibre channel switches, including multipath configuration Advanced technical knowledge in storage methodologies, design, and implementation. Advanced working knowledge of fiber channel SAN/NASs, Advanced knowledge of FC and TCP/IP networking, Experience of managing fiber channel SAN switches like Brocade, Cisco switches Experience participating in solution configurations and the creation of PoCs to meet customer Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical Basic understanding of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions Training/certification is a plus. VMware/Hyper-V and Windows Server admin basic knowledge would be added advantage Candidate should have 4-6 Years of experience. Advanced support on the Backup application Avamar & Data Domain media server and client agent Installing/Upgrading NetBackup master/media server and client agent Creating backup selections, media sets Taking Catalog backups and DB backups for recovery purpose Advance backup functions like Oracle DB backup, VMware VADP backup, SQL backup, exchange backup. Implementation of LAN free/SAN based backups. Ability to do Performance tuning and Knowledge and experience with Storage Area Networks and NAS devices, Also Troubleshooting and configuration of SCSI and FC devices. Performing scheduled maintenance of all the Master and Media servers and troubleshooting Ability to isolate issues of back up failures of application / OS / DB / library etc. Restore and back up operation unaided for unscheduled / ado requests Backup and restore using native back up commands. Coordinate closely with the Data Center engineers tape rotation for all backup/restore operations Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical Training/certification is a plus. VMware/Hyper-V and Windows/Linux Server basic admin knowledge would be added advantage Candidate should have 10+ Years of experience.
