JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor for our client in Amarillo! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $24.04/Hour Supervise warehouse employees to optimize service, productivity and quality, minimize expenses and maintain morale. Ensure that warehouse processes are clearly documented, the workplace is safe at all times, employees receive appropriate training, and that disciplinary issues are addressed promptly. (link removed) Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and take appropriate action when required. (link removed) Ensure that procedures are observed, implemented, enforced, and training is provided when necessary. (link removed) Ensure the quality and inspection process is accurate and identify ways to streamline the process to eliminate cost. (link removed) Ensure a safe working environment at all times and follow appropriate safety regulations. JOB REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE Forklift operation. 1-3 Years, 5 Preferred. Supervision experience in a warehouse environment (distribution preferred). 1-3 Years, 5 Preferred. EDUCATION High School Degree or Equivalent: SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS 1. Strong knowledge of inventory control processes. 2. Knowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Strong time management skills. 5. Basic computer skills. 6. Attention to detail. 7. Ability to learn and use business planning systems. 8. Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions. 9. Ability to remain calm and resolve problems in a timely manner under stressful situations. 10. Ability to work in a team environment. 11. Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment. 12. Ability to adapt to changing situations and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. 13. Ability to anticipate and prepare for customer needs. WORKING ENVIRONMENT Warehouse Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally well ventilated and well lighted. Warehouse employees may be exposed to all kinds of weather and may be required to wear protective clothing. Operates heavy equipment. Strict safety regulations may be required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work is physically strenuous and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds. Work may require excessive bending or stooping. Employee required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day. Employee required to climb ladders. Employee required to use hand tools. Employee uses heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.). MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Employee required to organize and coordinate schedules. Employee required to problem-solve. Employee required to manage other employees.
