As Capex contract manager, you will be part of the Procurement team
Main responsibilities and accountabilities:
Joining an ambitious and dynamic project, you will be part of the program Procurement team as a lead for Contract Management activities. In your scope will be the general administration of contracts (EPCM or OEM) linked to the program with regards to technical specs, laws, schedules, and terms & conditions to ensure smooth progress of the project in its different steps.
Manage contractor overall performance against awarded contract
Be the central point of contact of all commercial and legal communications with EPCM and PMC
Take control and be responsible of all exchanges to make sure everybody received correct information
Issue instructions, variation orders, AM internal approval requests, memos for contract amendment notices, etc. with the support of Legal team
be in close contact with engineering team, schedule team, finance, document control, procurement
Ensure delivery of full scope, on time and in budget within the project
Ensure adherence of project policies, processes, procedures, and templates
Regularly review progress against schedule and implement corrective actions where required
With the assistance of Discipline Lead determines the value of work completed monthly
Control weekly/monthly labour report
Manage processing of invoices for payment
Control monthly report from EPCM and PMC with KPI
Resolve all technical/commercial queries with the assistance of the engineering and procurement team
Manage risks related to contracts
Check compliance of scope of services
Manage interface issues (claim) with external contractors and internal project teams
to participate in management meeting (weekly /monthly basis).
Keep open and honest communication with all stakeholders, ensuring clarity, and frequency
What youll need
Education/qualification: Masters degree
Subject: Engineering or Technical field as Mechanical, Electrical or Civil works or business administration
Experience:
At least 8 years of experience in Engineering or/and in Purchasing (Site Buyer, Site Operations/Maintenance, etc.)
Experience in CAPEX procurement
Strong negotiation skills
Good communication skills
Dynamic, persistent, working autonomously and taking initiatives
Proficiency in Office Databases (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Keen commercial sense
Languages: English (advanced)
