Job Title: Automotive Painter Location: Winnsboro, SC Overview: Our auto collision repair facility in Winnsboro, SC, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Refinish Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our company, the successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in utilizing a paint camera, creating custom paint mixtures, and working with Lesonal Solvent products. $20-$25 an hour based off prior experience

Role Responsibilities:
Execute automotive painting techniques with precision, ensuring flawless and uniform finishes.
Prepare custom paint mixtures in-house to match specific color codes and customer requests.
Conduct thorough inspections of painted surfaces to identify and rectify imperfections or defects.
Stay informed about new products and techniques introduced by Lesonal, incorporating them into the painting process as appropriate.
Monitor and manage paint inventory, ordering supplies as needed to meet production demands.
Regularly maintain and clean all painting equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance team.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and others from potential hazards associated with paint application and handling chemicals.
Collaborate effectively with other team members, including automotive technicians and supervisors, to ensure a seamless workflow.
Uphold a high level of attention to detail and consistency in all paintwork.
Ensure that paint application meets industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience (preferred) as an automotive painter with a proven track record of achieving high-quality finishes.
Experience in using paint cameras, tinting, and mixing paint formulas.
Demonstrated proficiency in both conventional and advanced paint application methods, including using spray gun techniques.
Knowledge of Lesonal automotive paint products (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top-notch work.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic automotive repair environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations related to painting.
Willingness to pursue ongoing training and education to stay updated on the latest automotive painting techniques and technologies.
Actively seek opportunities to improve efficiency and quality in the paint department.
