Lasa Construction Ltd. Is looking for 2 Drywall Finishers to join them ASAP
Business Address: 7755 145a St, Surrey, BC V3S 9C3
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (35 to 40 hours a week)
Wage: $27.50 to $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Duties:
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Joining drywall panels using tape and plaster.
• Repairing cracks and any other damage to the drywall panels.
• Concealing any imperfections or exposed irregularities in the drywall surface.
• Layering plaster or spackle with trowels to create a flat surface.
• Sanding down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface.
• Skimming the surface with a final layer of plaster in preparation for finishing work.

Skills requirement:
• Education: Completion of Secondary Education required.
• Experience: One to two years of experience in the similar field is required.
• Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure, standing for extended periods, heavy lifting. Employees are required to move around the job site efficiently, so good mobility and the ability to walk, bend, and crouch is important.
• Weather Conditions: Work often takes place outdoors and may be subject to various weather conditions. Employees should be able to work in extreme temperatures, rain, or other adverse weather.
