OVERVIEW

Our client is a leading steel manufacturing company that's looking to hire an Electrical Maintenance Technician (Night Shift). Were looking for individuals with backgrounds in industrial electrical, including PLC and AC/DC experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipment and effectively troubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery and systems.

Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose and repair.

Be a valued member of the maintenance team, interacting with production, industrial maintenance, and cross-functionally to ensure reliability of equipment, service, safety, and continuous improvement.


MUST HAVE

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

3+ years electrical maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment.

Experience with industrial electronics, AC/DC theory, power transmission, test instruments and instrumentation, VFDs, PLCs, ladder logic, relay logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motor controls, and electrical construction.


NICE TO HAVE

Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship, Journeyman Certification, or equivalent work experience.

Steel industry experience.

Welding and light fabrication experience.

Experience with industrial communication networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet).
