Department: Nutritional Services Days and Shifts: Part-time position Works 8-12 hours per week Mainly Tuesday from 8 AM 4:30 PM May work additional hours as needed Description: Responsible for the regulatory functions of the Nutritional Services department and the provision of dietitian services Accountable for educational design, direction and delivery of individual and group programs within the hospital Develops nutritional guidelines and therapeutic menus for patients based on their physical condition and dietary restrictions Consults with physicians and nurses in regard to individual meal plans Responsible for teaching patients and their families about sound nutritional principles, and selecting and preparing food. Requirements Educational/Experience: Registered and Licensed Dietitian Bachelors Degree Required.
