The role: Commercial Account Handler


We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
Account Handler
to join our Advisory team located in our Leeds offices. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial insurance having worked in a Handler or Broker type role and looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker.

There is an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week on average, with flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

We will rely on you to:

Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business and midterm changes.
Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives
Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
Manage all day to day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments
Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
Perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across product lines.
Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients


What you need to have:

In-depth commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products
Enjoy working within a culture of continuous improvement, from both an individual and team focus
Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities


What makes you stand out:

Cert CII qualification
Commercial Insurance experience
Broker System experience (ideally Acturis/E-Trade)
