Purpose:

This is an exciting opportunity join the Creative & Media domain in Insights Division, Kantar Singapore. You will be working with a team of hardworking creative brand builders to build significant impact on our clients businesses. You will lead a strong team to deliver successful Growth Programs and connecting various data sources to deliver significant insights and stories. As a key interface between Kantar and our clients, the role includes client engagement, consultancy, study design and analysis, driving preparation of presentations and reports.

You will be leading a team who will support your operational and storytelling excellence. As an emerging leader, you will get tohone your leadership skills by learning how to elevate the skills of your team members, handle resources effectively and develop the careers of your line reports. You will also support the implementation of broader business initiatives sought at redefining the way we work and deepening the validated experience of the wider team.

The Role:



Project & Account Management

Efficiently handle and supervise junior team to ensure multiple project & account results are met. Deliverables including questionnaires, data, dashboards and reports.
Maximise account efficiency by:
Reviewing, improving, streamlining & automating processes without compromising quality
Resourcing and planning project timelines to meet client objectives within budgets
Champion good relationships with onshore and offshore teams and provide constructive feedback to improve speed of delivery
Ensure Finance processes (client contracts, PO and billing) are followed through for all projects


Analysis and Insights Expertise

Understand and synthesise data from various sources (e.g. sales data, media spend data), and maximising on analytics where needed
Articulate insights clearly and impact fully with clear and concise implications that will help clients make better decisions
Demonstrate knowledge of Kantars brand philosophies and apply these appropriately to the design & analysis, so as to drive significant insights for clients needs and their business
Find opportunities to deepen insights for clients using further analysis including case studies and meta findings as appropriate


Client Management and Consultancy

Building strong relationships with key client team members
Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of your clients and their business objectives to offer advice and support
Leading client discussions at briefings, regular project meetings and presentations
Present expertly and impact fully in client presentations
Provide a point of view on specific client issues aligned with brand philosophies
Develop and implement account management plans for key clients with support from Directors
Conduct and create impact reviews for all presentations


People Management & Development

Lead and develop an impactful and engaged team of 2-4 team members
Work with line reports to identify and set clear objectives to develop and broaden their careers
Participate in the training of more junior team members as appropriate
Complete all Performance Appraisals Process responsibilities on time


Business Development

Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing client business, revenue and profitability
Respond to new business opportunities by understanding the brief and preparing proposals
Review account and project profitability to understand opportunities to enhance financial performance for future projects
Ensure that Direct Costs are within the budget



Key relationships:


Your Business Unit Leader: Client Partner

Responsible for developing your research, brand & commercial competence to support client consultations and team development. In turn, you are accountable for delighting clients and driving account profitability through excellence in operations and insights delivery.


Your Domain Leader: Head of Brand Guidance:

The Domain leader will support you in understanding and implementing the Kantar offer, frameworks and protocols to reflect the best of our expertise. You will be responsible for staying connected to the internal teams on your accounts and ensure our projects reflect the best client & domain practices globally.


Your Team: Analysts and Associates

Effectively distribute tasks and responsibilities, while supporting any obstacles in project execution with project management teams. Be responsible for the growth of juniors your team through regular career conversations with support from your Business Unit Leader.


Your Clients: Insights and Marketing teams at client organizations

Discover and understand the clients brand & business challenges, and deliver compelling data stories to help their brands achieve financial growth. Lead client induction webinars to embed Kantars brand philosophy into their organisations



Skills & Experience Required:

Desire to work in a highly ambitious, fast-paced, and changing environment
Proven record to lead multiple workstreams and projects at the same time
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Has a passion for discovering stories and patterns hidden in data sets
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and manage relationships with collaborators at all levels
