Under general supervision, performs skilled carpentry work in the maintenance of City facilities and in renovation projects. Work involves performing carpentry tasks required in the City including demolition, building, remodeling, new construction, minor repairs, and related duties. Reports to the Assistant Foreman.

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of carpentry / construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess a valid Louisiana Class D driver's license.
