Locum Orthopedic Surgery Job in MissouriSeeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgery physician for long-term locum coverage near Republic, MO. Job Details:
- Coverage Date: 2/14/2022 - Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- EMR System: Epic
- Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Other Details:
- Beeper call coverage, 15 minute response time.
- Approx. 40,000 adult emergency visits
- General & trauma ortho cases
- There is an APP and MA who assists for triage purposes
- No designated trauma ORs but we have a 7 am block each day
- Level 2 trauma center and ship out the polytraumas and pelvic fractures
- Transfer protocol - we transfer to Springfield for a higher level of care, they have subspecialty ortho call
- Level 2 Trauma experience is acceptable if not fellow trained
