Kantar Worldpanel is globally renowned as a leading player in consumer panel insight. Our first panel was established over 60 years ago and we now operate in almost 50 countries. In 2021, Kantar Worldpanel launched in South Africa with the biggest household panel in Africa.
An exciting vacancy for a third Senior Research Executive has arisen in the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small but dynamic start up team that is looking to deliver best in class insights using proven data capture methods and analytical tools. This role is based in Johannesburg but would potentially require some travel across South Africa to meet with clients face to face, as necessary.
Key Outcomes
Building and presenting engaging, insightful and impactful stories from data. Delivering the highest level of client servicing by responding promptly and comprehensively to client queries. Identifying further potential revenue opportunities. Running Worldpanel data using the proprietary PowerView software and being an expert in understanding key metrics and how they can answer business issues. Training the client-side team to access and interpret the basic data, once the online client portal is up and running.
Key Capabilities
To succeed in this role, you need to be an experienced market researcher who has an ability to distill large amounts of data into clear nuggets of insight and who has a motivation to delivering outstanding client service. Proven experience in market research or similarly analytical role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to create insightful and impactful presentations. Relationship and account building experience, with a desire to deliver outstanding client service. Ability to identify additional revenue opportunities. Strong attention to detail and thoroughness. Passionate and enthusiastic about the market, our business, and working as a team Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
