Job TitleLogistics and Warehouse Manager Job Description Monitors and controls the physical distribution activities of materials from receiving to storage, to production floor and to our Distribution center. Liaison with related functions in the manufacturing, procurement, supply chain or IT organizations to improve the performance.
Your role:
Creates a working environment that continuously improves the Health and Safety of workers, including identification and management of occupational risk, provision of information and training, review of performance and provision of sufficient resources to maintain an effective H&S program
Trains and monitors warehouse specialist in performing transactions in the system and following our Quality Management processes. Ensure on time completion of all compliance training (Philips U, TEDs)
Develop, implement/enforce or modify applicable department SOP's and work instructions
Coordinate inventory cycle counts, inventory analysis and policy definition to secure material availability against minimum inventory investments
Lead all major problem solving efforts and root cause analyses whenever they occur as a consequence of major positive or negative inventory adjustments
Coordinate containment and remediation efforts that will curve positive and negative inventory adjustments
Report inventory variances to IGTD Finance and Central team
Annual wall-to-wall PI and/or EY substantive counts
Manages deliveries (and product flow) to and from the DC within budget and at or above agreed service levels.
Supports the resolution of exception flows: claims management (inbound/outbound), reverse logistics
You're the right fit if:
Youve acquired 4+ years of experience in Inventory Analysis and Warehouse Management
Your skills include: ERP system experience required; hands-on experience with Oracle and/or SAP warehouse management modules preferred (WMS or Inventory modules); experience working in a regulated environment (required, medical devices or pharmaceutical strongly preferred); experience in driving improvement via LEAN, Problem Solving, and Daily Management, APICS certification (highly desired); intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office application Excel,
You have a Bachelors or masters degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or a relevant discipline.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Shipping/Warehousing position.
You have strong communication skills, ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
