Position Details: Job Title: Locum - Physician - Surgeon - Cardiothoracic Start Date: November 3-6 and December 21-25 Duration: Ongoing locum coverage Shift Type: 24-hour call, 7:00 am - 7:00 am Weekend Requirements: Yes On Call Requirements: Yes Job Requirements: Board Certified - Required OH License - Preferred (willing to accept providers needing to obtain a license) BLS/ACLS Certified - Required COVID Vaccination - Required (noted at time of name clear) Practice Details: Practice Setting: Hospital Rounding Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery & General Thoracic Surgery Average Number of hospital patients per physician per day: 8-10 Number of submissions per day: 0-2 Number of surgeries per day: 0-1 2 Physicians in the practice; 1 mid-level No supervision required Required Procedures/Duties: General CV/Thoracic Surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery, Congenital defects, Valvular repair/replacement, Aneurysm repair, Lung resection, Left ventricular assist devices, Ventilation management, Bronchoscopy, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, Insertion of Central line, arterial line, PA catheter, IABP
