Position: General Construction Supervisor (NOC 72021)
Position Available: 1
Wage: $38.00 per hour
Duration: 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Job Duties:

• Estimate costs and materials.
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to construction plans.
• Requisition materials and supplies.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.
• Supervise workers and projects.
• Address client concerns or requests promptly and professionally, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project duration.
• Monitor quality control measures to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds project standards.

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of Secondary school education is required
Experience: At least 2-3 years of related experience is required
Language: Must be able to communicate in English
Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills, Team player, Judgement, Flexibility
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Work site environment: Outdoors.
