Job Description

Associate Director, Clinical Affairs (Plymouth, Colorado Springs, or San Diego)


The Associate Director, Clinical Affairs will aid in advancing care and improving lives around the world helping our customers decide, guide, treat and confirm across the peripheral vascular (PV) portfolio in our Image Guided Therapy Devices business. You will drive the clinical and economic evidence strategy development, delivery & dissemination throughout the entire product creation and life-cycle to deliver evidence of value to support the business objectives in the PV segment. Your role:

Lead the development of evidence generation strategies for projects, working within a cross-functional team.
Author clinical development and evaluation plans, and clinical trial protocols.
Drive execution of clinical activities in partnership with clinical operations and conduct/coordinate ongoing medical and scientific review with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead interpretation & dissemination of evidence generated from clinical development activities (CSRs, CERs, manuscripts, etc.)
Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate dissemination of clinical data/information for external communications.
Participate in health authority interactions, as well as interactions with site Institutional Review Boards/ethics committees.
Provide clinical development input to proposed revisions of SOPs and guidance documents.
Represent the Clinical & Medical Affairs function as a member of the leadership team in the PV segment.


You're

the right fit if:

Youve acquired 8+ years of experience in clinical research/development function, or related functional area within the industry. Experience in execution of clinical trials is a plus.
Your skills include a proven track record in successful talent development, evidence strategy ideation and execution, being self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in an efficient manner, communicating effectively and with confidence when interacting with varying levels of internal/external management, and key opinion leaders. You have excellent teamwork and negotiation skills: knows how to complete deliverables by working effectively with others internally and externally; can effectively drive discussions and decisions toward desired end results. You have strong organizational and project management skills and drive continuous improvement in a matrixed, lean-focused environment with the capacity to adapt to changing work requirements as needed.
You have a bachelors degree or higher in a clinical/science field. Advanced degree (PhD, MD) preferred.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
Youre able to travel occasionally as needed, and capable of working in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as hospital/healthcare environment; adhering to requirements.

Philips Transparency Details


The pay range for this position is $116,200 to $223,104, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
