This position is responsible to support Supervisor Payroll Services in managing the payroll processing activities in the Shared Services Center. The incumbent should have end-to-end process knowledge and work experience in processing payroll in Asian countries, specifically ID but other countries such as MY, SG, TW, CN, HK, ID and JP would be an added advantage. Process knowledge and experience that includes time entry, data compilation for overtime, variable pay and allowances, payroll gross to net calculations, payroll remittance, statutory & tax reporting, managing payroll system interfaces, 3rd party payroll vendor management and remittance to third party tax and social security authorities and proper recording of labor costs to the general ledger. The incumbent is expected to have a good working knowledge of the Korean labour and tax laws and legislation.

The incumbent is required to support migration activities to the center e.g. new entities, wage types creation/mapping, new country payroll operations etc. Incumbent needs to support the team in streamlining and improving the current verification and control process and other on-going activity consolidation to the center.

The incumbent is required to partner with other payroll associates and provide necessary payroll operations guidance and be responsible for verifying the monthly payrolls of Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea according to team assignment. Any knowledge of Indonesia payroll would be an added advantage.

Incumbent is responsible for effective internal operating controls and ensuring processes and controls are properly defined, documented and operating effectively as per SOX document. For all areas of responsibility, the incumbent must ensure the regional HR data privacy and protection regulations and practices are followed and in compliance.

Experience operating within a HR IT system (SAP/Workday/Others ) or experience in managing payroll vendors would be an added advantage.
