Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain OpenShift clusters that support the development and deployment of applications.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications deployed on OpenShift.
Work with application developers to ensure that their applications are optimized for deployment on OpenShift.
Manage and monitor the health and performance of OpenShift clusters and CICD pipelines.
Configure and maintain the infrastructure and network components required for OpenShift.
Implement and maintain security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of OpenShift clusters and the applications deployed on them.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift clusters and the applications deployed on them.
Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionality of OpenShift and provide recommendations for improvements to the platform.
Automate tasks and processes related to the management of OpenShift clusters and CICD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IAAC), Cutting Edge Configuration Management Frameworks.
Document and communicate technical information to team members and stakeholders.
Provide training and support to application developers on how to deploy and manage applications on OpenShift.
Collaborate with other members of the IT team to integrate OpenShift with other systems and services.
Qualifications:
Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
Experience with Linux system administration and networking.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, Infrastructure as Code, Security, and Best
practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes.
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Experience with cloud computing platforms with AWS.
