UCI's Direct client is looking for Sr IT Security Engineer with following qualification experience and long-term project in 2 Metro Tech Centre, New York. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Minimum 12 years of experience in a technical and/or business application, product, platform, or methodology. Experience designing secure networks, systems, and applications with a focus on security, performance, and reliability. Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures. Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems. Demonstrate a sound understanding in the implementation of cybersecurity trends, security methodologies, and OSI model; TCP/IP stack. DESIRABLE SKILLS: One or more relevant information security and/or networking certifications such as: CISSP, Security+, Network+, CCNA, PCNSE. Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
