Job Summary: Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist Administrative Director or Operations Manager Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards Maintains patient confidentiality at all times Demonstrates proper operation of PACS HIS and RIS computer systems Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR DR and PACs applications Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens infection control and body substance isolation Maintains department competencies as required Shift: Sunday Wednesday Shift 3 40 9pm 7am Rotating Holidays
Job Qualifications: Must have completed formal JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology Program NEW GRADS are welcome to apply Minimum of 1 year X Ray tech experience preferred CPR CPR is required MALIC Mass Radiography License ARRT CT Cat Scan required to be completed within 1 year of hire date ARRT RTR Registered Technologist Radiography Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress work intensive environment Attendance at all mandatory education
