Duties

- Perform massage therapy techniques to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and improve overall well-being.
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and goals.
- Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments to determine the most appropriate massage techniques and areas of focus.
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to target specific muscle groups and address clients' concerns.
- Utilize deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques to manage acute pain and promote healing.
- Provide education and guidance to clients on self-care techniques and exercises for pain management and injury prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant medical information.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

- Valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Completion of a recognized massage therapy program or equivalent education.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess clients' conditions accurately.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual client preferences and conditions.
- Knowledge of occupational health practices and the ability to provide appropriate recommendations for workplace wellness programs.
