Role & Responsibilities:
Cloud computing: As a Cloud Architect have a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and deployment models.
Cloud infrastructure: Good proficiency in designing and deploying cloud infrastructure, including computing, storage, networking, and security services.
Cloud platforms: Familiar with popular cloud platforms, such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
Security: Excellent knowledge of cloud security principles and practices, including data protection, access control, network security, and compliance.
Architecture design: Excellent knowledge in designing scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available systems.
Project management: Excellent knowledge of project management tools & and concepts and ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
Communication skills: A Cloud Architect should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as they will be required to communicate with clients and team members effectively.
Analytical skills: Able to analyze complex problems and develop solutions that meet the organization's requirements.
Leadership: As Cloud Architect providing technical leadership and guidance to other IT teams and stakeholders, ensuring that best practices are followed and that cloud infrastructure is designed and deployed according to industry standards.
Cloud infrastructure design: Responsible for designing cloud infrastructure that meets the organization's requirements, including scalability, performance, availability, and security.
Cloud migration: Involved in migrating existing applications and data to cloud platforms. This involves designing the migration plan, assessing risks, and ensuring a smooth transition to the cloud.
Cloud deployment: Responsible for deploying cloud infrastructure and ensuring that it meets the organization's needs.
Cost optimization: Optimizing cloud infrastructure costs by designing cost-effective solutions and identifying areas where costs can be reduced. Knowledge of FinOps tools
Collaboration: Working Closely with other IT teams and stakeholders, such as developers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets the organization's needs.
SQL: Good knowledge of configuring SQL clusters, DR and fine-tuning and SQL PaaS services
Training: Providing Training to cloud engineers on AWS, Azure and Azure DevOps and best practices, Project management tools such as Microsoft Project
