As Material Planning & Disposition BOM Expert you will join Philips BOM Integrated Supply Chain team

On daily basis you will have a chance to
accelerate one of the most innovative business lines of Philips. The goal is to design, develop and implement process improvement in the Supply Chain material disposition area. You will drive harmonization of the Purchasing processes, continuous improvement of adoption and utilization towards the SAP Materials Management key users, end users of the Standard SAP kernels in our Integrated Supply Chain. You will work with Procurement and Finance Stakeholders, users of different Businesses, Markets and Functions, operational teams and IT to close process gaps, prevent them from recurring identified issues and/or provide knowledge to empower the operational teams to solve these cases themselves next time.

Your role:


Increase standard SAP MM (Materials Management) adoption and utilization of the existing SAP kernel(s) among the SAP MM key users and SAP MM end users globally via continuous improvement.

Drive capabilities and by generating knowledge about the existing and future to-be business processes identified by the Business Process Experts throughout the global SAP-MM kernels in the Integrated Supply Chain.

Train the end-users and make sure the SAP MM kernels are adopted and utilized by end users.

Support in performing the Value Stream Mapping of existing business processes and help to understand the upcoming change while implementing improvements/ future business flows with balancing the technical and functional viewpoints in SAP MM

Using your knowledge and practical experience in applying advanced replenishment models: JIT, Kanban external procurement, Vendor scheduling agreement, Subcontracting (assembly and operational subcontracting), Stock transport orders, Dynamic reorder point, consignment concept

Using your knowledge on E2E master data settings and its influence on material planning: material master data (% scrap, rounding profile, coverage profile, planning time fence, lot size), Purchasing Info Record, Outlines agreement, Vendor Scheduling Agreement, Quota arrangement, Substitutes management (Usage Probability)

You're the right fit if:



You have 5-10 years of relevant working experience in working with SAP MM module



Your knowledge of material planning and disposition process
and you can use your expertise in supporting various Supply Chain departments


You understand E2E planning process and dependencies between upstream supply planning, production planning and consequences on material planning



You have experience in process improvements, change management on global level



You speaks fluently English and can communicate simply on complex topics


Your analytical skills are useful to bridge the gap between process & system implementation

You have experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience in spare parts management and circular lifetime solutions as nice to have

You hold a Technical Masters degree, or equivalent ideally inOperations.
