Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Lead:

DTechLogic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Red Hat Ansible Engineer to join our dynamic Cyber Engineering department. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Ansible playbooks for each team throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Red Hat Ansible automation, strong knowledge of Linux and network administration, and a passion for streamlining processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles to automate deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure components within our facility.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the facility to gather requirements, identify automation opportunities, and develop efficient solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ansible automation, ensuring high availability and performance of critical systems within the Cybersecurity, System Administration, and Network infrastructure.

Continuously optimize and enhance automation workflows to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability within each department.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation, DevOps, and cybersecurity technologies.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure automation, with a focus on Red Hat Ansible or 10+ years of experience.

Current CompTIA Sec+ certification.

Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Yaml and Bash.

Experience with system patching and maintenance of Ansible Software.

Experience administering and maintaining Linux systems.

Experience with network security principles and technologies.

In-depth knowledge of Ansible administration.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification.

Experience with monitoring and logging all issues with their solutions.

Work within a dynamic and mission-driven team in support of national security efforts.

Experience installing, operating, and maintaining SQL databases.

Certified in either CompTIA Network+ or has a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. An active secret security clearance is required.

This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.
