Summary / Role Purpose

The DevOps Intern helps to support the development of software products, processes, and supporting systems. In this role, the DevOps Intern will collaborate with a team of expert professionals.
In the summer of 2024 we will have a vacancy in our Milton Park office for a 12 month placement within the Dev Ops team.
This role is only available to current students who are eligibile to work in the UK. Salary is 23,490 pa.



Key Duties and Responsibilities

Performs basicDevOpsactivities for ANSYS Fluids software products
Worksin a collaborative manner with members of the software development, infrastructure and testing teams
Works with ITto maintainDevOps infrastructure
Operates under direct supervision with work subject to frequent review by more experienced staff or DevOps Manager


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field


Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Strong scripting skills (Python, Linux shell scripting, Windows batch scripting and Perl)
Familiarity with C/C++ programming
Any experience with working on any open-source/third-party software
Good communication and interpersonal skills
