Human Resources Administrator (Onsite)

We have an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Human Resources Administrator to join a fast-growing civil engineering firm.

Location: Corona, CA (Onsite)

This job expects to pay about $25 - 30 per hour.

What You Will Do:


  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees into their roles.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
  • Manage open enrollment processes and communicate changes to employees as needed. Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially, including but not limited to conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Post job openings, screen resumes, and conduct interviews for administrative and engineering positions.
  • Coordinate the offer process and assist with negotiating terms of employment.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to accurately process payroll using ADP, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Verify time and attendance records, resolve payroll discrepancies, and address payroll-related inquiries from employees.

What Gets You The Job: 


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on employee relations, benefits administration, and recruitment.
  • Proficiency in ADP payroll processing software is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly in California, is a plus.
