Plan shoots and set up filming environments. Select equipment needed for each shoot and assure that it is present and working. Set up and take down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment. Perform necessary "storyboarding." Shoot video footage and still photographs on the ground, aerially (from drones) and underwater. Compose and frame shots and scenes, applying knowledge of techniques of light, lenses, film, filters, specialized equipment and settings to achieve desired effects. Choose and adjust positions and controls of equipment to change focus, exposure, and lighting. Determine filming sequences, desired effects, camera movements, and lighting requirements. Edit video and still footage in postproduction. Add computer graphics, closed captioning, special effects, etc. to footage. As necessary, prepare background film ("B" rolls). Troubleshoot video and audio broadcasting equipment. Remain up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more marketable.

Must have Bachelor's in Cinema, Video Production, or related plus 24 months' experience as Videographer, Video Production Specialist, or related. Must have FAA Part 107 commercial drone license and experience in drone operation. PADI Divemaster certification for underwater cinematography. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Media Composer, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator); Avid Media Composer; Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve; NAS configuration and maintenance. Knowledge in operating Sony, RED, Blackmagic and Panasonic cameras; implementing shots using Dana and Matthews dollies; setting up and controlling ATEM hardware and software for broadcasting. Knowledge of electrical and power distribution on the film set; troubleshooting and maintenance of light fixtures. Skills in data management and backup using ShotPut Pro. Experience may be from paid or unpaid employment, prior paid or unpaid internships, class study, or any other sources. Part-time work deemed equal to half the number of days of comparable full-time work. Most work will be in and around Denver, CO (Denver County). However, employer's business involves shoots "on location," which could be in other counties throughout Colorado and on occasion in neighboring states. There will be no regular or long-term deployment to other areas. Employment will remain in Denver and surrounding areas.

Wage is $70138 - $70138 per year. Opportunity closes 04/15/2024.
