Job Title: L3 Aruba Wireless Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (30-40 hours weekly) Duration: 5+ Months Rate: $DOE/Hour on W2

Experience Skill Matrix in Years: 1. Total Experience: Years (Must have 8-10 years of experience) 2. L3 Engineer: Years 3. Aruba Networking: Years 4. Wireless Pre-Design Site Visit, Wireless Predictive Design, Wireless Post Installation Survey, & APoS Surveys: Years 5. Knowledge of 802.11 standards, CAPWAP, Cisco WLC: Years 6. Able to use tools such as Cisco Prime Infrastructure, AirMagnet Spectrum, Ekahau Pro, or other Survey and RF tools, to design and support WLANS: Years 7. Aruba Wireless Network architecture, design, configuration, and operations: Years 8. Knowledge of switching and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP) : Years 9. Network and Security fundamentals: Years 10. Any Certifications like: HPE Aruba Certifications, CCIE Wireless, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless or Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP):
REQUIRED SKILLS: Must have 8-10 years of experience. Wireless Pre-Design Site Visit, Wireless Predictive Design, Wireless Post Installation Survey, & APoS Surveys. Knowledge of 802.11 standards, CAPWAP, Cisco WLC; be able to use tools such as Cisco Prime Infrastructure, AirMagnet Spectrum, Ekahau Pro, or other Survey and RF tools, to design and support WLANS. Expert understanding of Aruba Wireless Network architecture, design, configuration, and operations is required. Extensive practical knowledge of switching and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP). Solid understanding of general Network and Security fundamentals. Remotely supporting clients within service level agreements (SLAs), Possessing active certifications like: HPE Aruba Certifications, CCIE Wireless, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless or Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP), is a strong plus.
Overview: The Senior Wireless Network Engineer must be a detail oriented, committed problem solver with robust communication skills who will execute the vision through the design and oversight of a web and mobile application platform. Responsible for setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for clients purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions. Works directly with client to manage initial access, map, and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users. Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution. Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements. Experience working for a Global multi-national corporation. MUST have Highly skilled with performing on-site Wireless surveys for AP placement. Must have strong experience with Aruba Wireless and Ekahau Sidekick 2 survey tools.
