As a Lighting Application Specialist, youll be responsible for developing interior and exterior lighting layouts for agents and customers using Cooper Lighting products to meet project specifications. Using AGI32 software, you will create computer analysis ofoutdoor application areas such as parking lots, roads, and public spaces. Interior application areas include offices, warehouses, and egress spaces to validate system performance. You will collaborate closely with the Cooper Lighting sales teams, architects, specifiers, engineers, and customers, using the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) of North America standards.

What you'll do


Proactively collaborate with Cooper agents, key customer accounts, and sales teams to develop photometric studies to meet customer needs using lighting software, AutoCAD, and photometric analysis.

Develop Lighting Layouts/Photometric Studies for Interior, Exterior and Sports Lighting projects.

Serve as a key resource Pre and Post Sales to review lighting recommendations and best practices.

Collaborate with team members to provide design driven solutions centered on Cooper Lighting products using forward-thinking innovation with a passion for results.

Continuously benchmark our performance against customer expectations to promote constant improvement.

What you'll need


Minimum of an Associates Degree, ideally in a technical discipline

Demonstrated design/engineering fundamentals

CAD software experience a plus

Experience working with customers, listening, and articulating solutions; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Salary:
$59,900 - 87,780


Bonus:
target bonus opportunity - 5%
