Our client company is seeking an experienced manager to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in fabrication and assembly of products.
You must be willing to:
Implement/drive LEAN activities
Work as a Champion for the LEAN program
Provide strong leadership to direct reports
Understand/support KPIs/Shop Floor Management objectives
Inspect machines/equipment to ensure performance/optimum utilization
Examine defective machinery to determine cause of malfunction/reports need for repairs
Inspect work in progress/finished product to ensure compliance to standards
Study production schedules/estimate worker hour requirements
Establish/adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY):
High School diploma (2/4 year college degree preferred)
Experience in Lean Black Belt and/or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
Ability to read/interpret documents (safety rules/operating/maintenance instructions/procedure manuals
Knowledge of MS Windows/Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
