We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a Java J2EE Developer role.Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs. Testing and evaluating new programs. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts. The Software Developer performs analysis, design, build, tests, and rollout activities work related to the software development for the SCOR Closeout Form project. Reviews and analyzes business and technical requirements. These roles will be responsible for enhancing enterprise Java applications with additional features. As part of these feature enhancements, the application will undergo remediation to align the application with more up-to-date security and support-ability standards, introducing new frameworks in the system to improve support and maintenance. This may involve RESTful service oriented solutioning using latest Java/J2EE technology stack along with UI frameworks such as Angular and relational databases such as Oracle. Knowledge and experience working on Single Page Applications development, RESTful services, Oracle or MS SQL or another RDBMS database in Agile environment is required. This role will also support the applications enhancements and defect corrections and fixes. In addition, support applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Available for on-call support as needed. Maintains all required documentation. Experience within Agile software development methodologies. Helps troubleshoot problems and tracks defects. Works with minimal supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgement. Work on other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations. 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Skills(Required) : Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java/J2EE technology stack using MVC, Spring/Struts/Hibernate frameworks Experience in writing SQL for relational databases Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform Experience with UI Frameworks such as AngularJS, JQuery, Ajax, etc. Experience within software development using Agile methodology Experience in writing PLSQL programs Experience in development of Single Page Applications (SPA) using frameworks and libraries like Angular Experience in developing web applications using web server such as WebSphere Application Server. Skills(Preferred) : Knowledge of reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Business Objects, etc.
