Responsible for managing the overall operations for nursing services and patient care at a DaVita hemodialysis facility including but not limited to financial management, quality assurance and patient care, safety, risk management, teammate satisfaction, quality index scores, facility maintenance, and other required duties that may arise during the general operations of the facility. Supervisory and management responsibilities for all teammates within the facility including hiring, termination, performance and professional development, annual reviews and salary increases. Duties specifically include financial management- budget formulation and reviews concerning personnel and scheduling needs with patient load; patient care management- oversee nursing and technical services for patient treatment and ensure that appropriate adjustments in treatment plans are developed and implemented and meet compliance with state and federal governing agencies. Teammate (Employee) Management: understand basic wage and hour laws, federal, state, and local laws, and regulations. Medicare and legislation affecting employment in dialysis and nursing services and apply consistently. Risk Management/Quality Assurance Compliance: ensure compliance with DaVita policies and procedures in accordance with State and Federal regulations for patient care and services. Facility/Equipment Management: ensure equipment and supplies are maintained to provide quality care and to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Position requires a minimum of a master’s degree in aging services management, healthcare management or closely related field of study and two years of experience in the job offered or performing similar duties in healthcare management. Job located in Union City, CA, and any unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. $133, 619 to $171,226/year.
