The Commercial Refrigeration Senior Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems. This position requires advanced technical knowledge and experience in the field. The senior technician is responsible for working independently or as part of a team to complete all work safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, reach-ins, and ice machines.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with refrigeration systems and related equipment.

· Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning coils and changing filters

· Quote jobs and provide recommendations to clients based on their needs.

· Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

· Communicate effectively with clients

· Mentor new hires and pm technicians

· Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

· Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Knowledge & Skill Requirement:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred

· Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial refrigeration installation, maintenance, and repair

· Advanced technical knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and related equipment

· EPA Certification

· HVAC / R Certification

· Ability to read wiring diagrams & schematics

· Ability to handle physical workload

· Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record

· Pass a drug screening & background check
