Perform preventative, emergency, surgical, restorative and prosthodontic dentistry treatments. Diagnose ailments and create detailed treatment plans for comprehensive rehabilitative dentistry. Explain and clarify treatment plans to patients and teams, including surgical procedures. Perform sinus lifts, guided tissue regeneration, bone grafts for ridge preservation, and ridge augmentations. Perform implant supported fixed hybrid restorations for partial and full arch rehabilitations. Perform implant supported removable restorations. Take and evaluate cone beam computerized tomography. Perform simple and surgical extractions. Perform placement of single implants, single implant abutment, and placement of multiple implants for partial arch reconstruction. Perform placement of multiple implant fixed bridge restorations. Fabricate maxillary and mandibular complete dentures and removable partial dentures. Perform composite restorations. Perform periodic maintenance on all prosthesis. Diagnose and treat oral and gum diseases, tooth decay, dental infections, periodontal disease, etc., and provide restorative care to patients. Perform surgical extractions, including partial bony and soft tissue impacted teeth extractions (wisdom and dead teeth or to alleviate crowding).
Complete anterior, premolar, and selective molar endodontic procedures, as well as procedures with fixed prosthodonics, crowns, bridges complex fixed removable cases, implant restorations, full mouth rehabilitation, all-inclusive dental implants, custom-fit dentures, partials, and round house cases. Complete intra-oral and soft tissue exam, chart existing conditions and restorations, diagnose dental decay. Interpret x-rays and diagnostic test to determine treatment plans or surgical procedures, provide treatment options, explain treatment plan to patients, and document clinical notes in compliance with dentistry standards. Monitor the growth and development of the teeth, gums, and jaws and make recommendations for SureSmile or other cosmetic dental procedures. Place and restore dental implants and fabricate implant supported prosthesis. Perform denture adjustments, relines and repairs. Diagnose oral pathologies, including cysts, lesions, viral/bacterial/fungal infections, autoimmune diseases and oral cancer. Perform simple and surgical procedures on the teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity (root canal therapy, gingivectomies). REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM), Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD)or related, + 12 months of experience in the job offered. Full Dentist License is required in the State of Maryland-Maryland Department of Health and Certificate in Prosthodontics.
