1. Coordinate with vender, forwarder, broker, and other in-company departments to identify and eliminate logistics obstacles and ensure safe and timely shipping of products to three
branch locations (Anaheim, CA. Farmers Branch, TX. Elberton, GA)
2. Create and maintain detailed financial reporting on all import activities by using NAV system (ERP) and Google Doc including order management, logistics and shipping.
3. Improve standard operating procedures with warehouse staff and scheduling/shipping practices for efficiently carrying out logistics activities.
4. Quote and negotiate transportation rates or services based on current demand.
5. Monitor product import processes to ensure smooth connection between each key link.
6. Collaborate with sales, accounting, and warehouse to integrate logistics with business systems or processes. Optimize information flow, cash flow and product flow.
7. Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
8. Participate in carrier and forwarder management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.
9. Runs logistics cost analysis for all modes domestic trucking, ocean, air, and parcel.
10. Maintains carrier scorecards and manages monthly/quarterly carrier reviews.
11. Works directly with logistics providers on escalations, reporting, and transactional issues for the global logistics team
12. Maintains and updates records of inventory.
13. Manage customer returns (Reverse Logistics) that involves information collection, inspection, create credit memo. Analyze and classify the reason of return and share information to purchase department and sales department.
