Company Introduction:

Lakeside Variety is a convenient store that associates with a gas station, which is located at Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada. With the stores development and high volume of customers, now we are hiring an experienced store manager to manage the daily operation of the convenience store and gas station. We welcome you to join our big family!

Tasks:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement store policies
Conduct market research and learn up-to-date consumption trends and preferences
Determine merchandise to be sold; Compare and negotiate price with vendors.
Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
Co-ordinate the work of staffs
Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, report to director when necessary.
Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
Arrange and recruit, hire and supervise staff

Education: College/CEGEP
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Compensation:
$20-$25 per hour, depending on experience
Vacation pay 4%

Hours: 40 hours per week
