About the Role

We are seeking an Associate to join Kantars Brand Consulting team in New York City. This team provides solutions to strategic marketing challenges, rooting our approach in consumer insights, stakeholder understanding and financial analysis to unleash purpose-led growth. Our clients span the Fortune 500, as well as start-up organizations, with broad industry applications.
Associates participate in a multitude of projects across the organization. They are multi-talented multi-taskers who bring energy, expertise, momentum, and discipline to our projects.

The Associates primary responsibilities are to add value to client deliverables through quality insights, introducing compelling storytelling, developing top notch and error-free presentations, participating in debriefs, meetings and workshops, and are responsible for internal meeting logistics, basic account management and project support for clients.

Conduct comprehensive analysis and synthesis of data to inform strategic recommendations.

Assist in designing research that extracts the most compelling data and achieves optimal output.

Collaborate with team members to translate research and analysis into meaningful insights to drive impact for clients.

Co-create client presentations, conveying complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Deliver error free work to team members and demonstrate critical thinking and storytelling.

Understand the importance of the client experiences and show that you have always considered how the work will come to life in a memorable and impactful way.

Provide reliable and strong support to consultants.

Look for opportunities to streamline processes in teams to drive efficiencies.

Collaborate well across teams, help create an inclusive culture and attend Kantar activities.

Acts as a team player on projects with a positive can-do attitude.

Operate independently against a clear brief.

Collaborate with team members to support thought leadership initiatives and the development of materials that positions Brand Consulting credibly with new clients.

Participate in local learning opportunities.


Capabilities:


BS/ BA degree, graduate degree a plus but not required.

6-24 months of experience in consulting, marketing, primary research methodologies or related fields.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative approach to story-telling and visual presentation of information.

Strong analytic skills, with an ability to synthesize and translate data (soft and hard) from primary research and other sources into a cohesive and compelling storyline.

Ability to think strategically and work in teams to support the development of insights, implications, and recommendations for our clients.

Strong work ethic with a client-first approach to service and relationship building and a strong desire to exceed expectations.

Excellent critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, organization and time management skills and superior attention to detail.

Ability to take initiative and to work both independently and within a team.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SPSS is a plus

The salary range for this role in New York is USD 72,800.00 - USD 121,400. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
