Responsibilities Include:

*. Educate Prospective Clients About Solar Basics, Solar Tax Benefits, and Solar Funding Options
*. Assess Customer Energy Needs and Work with Industry Tools To Deliver Customized Solar Solutions
*. Provide Accurate and Detailed Proposals to Clients, Including System Specifications, Cost Estimates, and Financing Options
*. Submit Critical Information to Engineering and Installation Team for Successful Installations
*. CRM software to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities
*. Negotiate Projects and Secure Contracts
*. Keep in Contact With Client Throughout Installation Process
*. Build and Maintain Relationships with Clients to Generate Leads and Referrals
*. Stay up-to-date with Industry Trends, Regulations, and Incentives

Qualifying Skills:

*. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
*. Fluency in Spanish is a plus
*. Proficiency in Using Software Applications for Sales Tracking and Reporting
*. Self Motivated and Ability to Work Independently
*. Care for People
*. Conviction to “Do The Right Thing”
*. Hunger for Learning
*. Knowledge of the Solar Energy Market and Products is a Plus

Requirements:

*. Previous Experience in the Solar Industry, Consultive Sales Practices, or in Education are a Plus
*. Teachers Looking for Part-Time Opportunity or Industry Change Welcome
*. High School Diploma
*. Domestic traveling required
