Recruiting for a Procurement or Purchasing Agent with Timber / Sawmill / Forestry experience. Our client is in the wood products industry and has a culture that values safety first and rewards hard work.

Skills needed to be successful as the Procurement / Purchasing Agent would be developing relationships with timber dealers, loggers and landowners. You will be overseeing timber harvesting operations, purchasing pine from private landowners and overseeing the timber harvesting operations as well as coordinating with Procurement Manager and mills.

Minimum requirements for this Purchasing / Procurement Professional Agent position:
Bachelors degree in forestry, Supply Chain Logistics or Logistics
At least 3 years in procurement / purchasing
Knowledge of lumber mill operations
Self-motivated with good MS Office skills.
