ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain process and
improve efficiency.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Procurement and Vendor Management:
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and
conditions.
Monitor supplier performance and implement strategies to address any issues or
discrepancies.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess inventory and stockouts.
Logistics and Distribution:
Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
Optimize transportation routes and shipping methods to reduce costs and improve
efficiency.
Process Optimization:
Analyze supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
Implement best practices and technology solutions to streamline operations.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate the supply chain team to achieve departmental goals.
Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor/Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related
field.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role.
Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office applications.
