Account Manager- BR Focus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform benefit related functions to prepare for monthly billing reconciliations, consolidations and Self-bills
Learn and adopt all pre-set BR Focus processes relating to preparation for billing reconciliations and consolidations, and administrative duties Communicate and coordinate with internal Account Teams, as necessary. Communicate and coordinate; act as a liaison with internal MMA regional departments (Eligibility Assist, Bswift team, Plansource, etc.) as directed Communicate and coordinate; act as liaison with clients carriers and vendors as directed Obtain access to client carrier portals and internal systems Train clients to work within the digital workspace
Account Manager Qualifications
Excellent Excel skills preferred but not required
Pivot Tables V-Lookup Data Mining * Exposure to Human Resources and/ or Employee Benefits experience (combined or separately). Familiarity with Carrier & Vendor portals is a plus OR * Exposure with auditing, general accounting experience * High School Diploma or Equivalent; College Degree * Does NOT require a Texas Department of Insurance license * Preferred to have strong computer skills and the ability to multitask- quickly switch gears and return to original task without losing place * Task driven * Must have knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook

Manage day to day benefit oriented tasks, ensuring performance of the following tasks:
Identify and escalate issues that may affect the quality of service, cause technical challenges or place client at risk; Using available resources (BR Focus policies and procedures, Systems of Record and other client process materials), research and identify required information to resolve customer inquiries; As appropriate, team member will partner with internal team members to ensure that requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner; Responsible for fully understanding of all lines of employee benefits offered, clients contracted Scope of Services; Responsible for training, learning and fully understanding the clients ben admin & payroll systems and our digital workspace. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
BR Focus Specific tasks:
Download list bills from carrier portals Generate benefit enrollment census from clients ben admin platform Reporting adds/ terms to carriers, COBRA & FSA vendors Ability to learn multiple Benefit Administration & Payroll systems and the BR Focus Digital Workspace quickly Great communication skills (written & spoken) Independent, yet collaborative Ability to work independently and remotely Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures
